-- 2009 --

- Perhaps 2009 is the year you step forward to volunteer as a club leader?

- Perhaps you have an idea to send me for the webpage?

- It's never to early to think about ideas for day hikes and backpacking trips. Send me some ideas and we can post them here to assist in the December or January planning meetings. The day hikes are usually the first Sunday of the month and the Sunday after the third Friday (club meeting). The backpacking trips usually start the fourth Friday of the month. In November the club meeting is the 2nd Friday, and the backpacking trip starts the 3rd Friday to avoid Thanksgiving weekend. We sometimes switch weeks around to avoid Easter weekend as well. Watch the newsletter and webpage for current information.

- Do you have a upcoming trip to announce? Will you be keeping an online journal for others to share your experiences and track your progress? Consider taking notes and pictures that could be used to present a program to the club afterwards.
